Colorado Springs, CO – Winning nine of 10 matches on the evening lifted the Wyoming Cowboys wrestling team to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in the Western Wrestling Conference as Wyoming beat Air Force 32-6.
The Pokes opened the winning up early going up 4-0 after one match as Chase Smith had a 10-2 majority decision win over the Falcons Carter McElhany at the 141 pound weight class.
That lead was short lived as Air Force took the lead after match number two. The Falcons only win of the night came at the 149 pound division as the Falcons Cole VonOhlen pinned the Cowboys McCade Fird at the 2:05 mark of their match putting Air Force up 6-4.
